Activity: Crouch/tall Straight Run
What you practice: Flexing and extending the legs
- Gentle hill
- Skate to comfortable speed
- Glide straight downhill on both feet
- Bend both legs to crouch low - hold your arms in front to stay in balance
- Stand tall
- Repeat
- Crouch only as low as you feel balanced; with practice, go lower
