Activity: Linked Turns, Lifted Phantom Move
What you practice: Balance on stance foot & Tipping free foot toward little-toe edge
- Gentle, broad hill
- Skate to a comfortable speed, glide straight downhill on both feet
- Lift inside foot (here, his left) and tip it toward little-toe edge in order to turn in that direction
- Set down lifted foot onto little-toe edge
- Lift up new inside foot (here, his right) and tip it toward little-toe edge to turn in the new direction
- Keep arms wide to help with balance
