Activity: Linked Turns on Single Foot
What you practice: Balance on both edges of stance foot & Tipping free foot in both difrections
- Gentle hill
- Skate to comfortable speed, glide straight downhill on both feet
- Lift one foot
- Tip the lifted foot toward its little-toe edge to curve toward the lifted foot
- To curve toward the stance foot, tip the stance foot toward its little-toe edge and tip the lifted, free foot toward its big-toe edge
- Repeat the turns back and forth
- Keep the free foot close to or pressed against the stance foot
